History:
Founded in 1916 as Perley A. Thomas Car Works in High Point, North Carolina, USA. At first, the company manufactured streetcars and trolley buses, then transitioned to production of school buses in 1936. Commercial buses and specialty vehicles were added shortly thereafter.
